Biova LLC announces new, second location in Kansas Bioscience Park
Johnston, Iowa, USA (September 16, 2014)—Biova LLC, the world leader for water soluble egg membrane ingredients, has expanded their cutting-edge technology into a new neighborhood.
The new Biova office at 10900 S. Clay Blair Blvd. in Olathe, Kan., is nestled in the Venture Accelerator at the Kansas Bioscience Park, next to some of the leading—and fastest growing—science and technology businesses in the United States.
“Our expansion is so much more than elbow room,” said Matt Stegenga, Biova’s director of marketing. “There are great things happening at Biova. We wanted a scientific, collaborative community that understands the needs of growing technology companies. Kansas Bioscience Park checked all our boxes.”
The Kansas Bioscience Park is a thriving development focused on bioscience organizations working to improve and change lives. Organizations in the park can access bioscience and research expertise at nearby universities and medical centers.
The new Biova Olathe office will focus on managing the burgeoning product development and marketing operations for Biova’s egg membrane technologies and branded ingredients.
Kathy Hockla, project manager, has been hired, joining Stegenga in Biova’s new Olathe offices.
Biova’s manufacturing facility in Ames, Iowa, located at the Iowa State University Research Park, is also experiencing growth. Additional hirings for this facility include the following people:

• John Beckwith, quality control;
• Tai Misra, quality and compliance.
